HMC Civil Rights Law is a Middle Tennessee based civil rights firm. HMC Civil Rights focuses on employment discrimination on the basis of a protected class, sexual harassment and assault, as well as Title IX and governmental liability for deprivation of individuals' civil rights. HMC Civil Rights was initially founded by Heather Moore Collins as a solo practice in 2009 out of a deep desire to provide a voice to the voiceless throughout Nashville, Columbia, Franklin, Murfreesboro, and the rest of Tennessee.

Since that initial dream in 2009, the firm has evolved and grown into a skilled and dedicated team of trial attorneys and staff who practice state-wide.

We are committed to earning our clients’ trust, having the courage to stand up for their civil rights, but most importantly, through skill and hard work walking into a courtroom with the confidence necessary to restore our client’s rights.
