Scharnhorst Ast Kennard Griffin PC is a boutique civil litigation firm. Our attorneys have successfully tried and arbitrated many significant matters throughout the United States, including numerous multi-million dollar disputes.

We are located in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, but our practice extends well beyond the Midwest. We are privileged to represent Fortune 500 publicly-traded companies, several of America’s largest private companies, small businesses, and individuals in matters throughout the country. While we have big firm experience and capability, we do not try to be everything to everyone. Instead, our lawyers focus in a few select practice areas. This allows us to leverage our proficiency and experience in these areas so we can efficiently and consistently deliver exceptional results.

We are flexible: Because we are a boutique firm, we have the flexibility to develop and implement alternative fee arrangements, such as fixed fees, blended hourly rates, reduced hourly fees paired with a result-based bonus, and contingency fees.
