Dean Stowers

James Nelsen
James has handled in excess of a thousand criminal cases, including high profile criminal matters and various personal injury matters across Iowa and in Missouri. He has successfully litigated cases in State and Federal court, including complex multiple party litigation, high profile murder and kidnapping cases, and international drug conspiracies. Amy L. Pille
Upon graduation in 2003 from AIB College of Business, Amy began working as a legal assistant for Dean Stowers. Amy has a combined total of 20 years experience as a legal assistant. She has experience in trial support in civil and criminal litigation, transcription, organizing and summarizing discovery materials and preparing legal documents. As a legal assistant, Amy has become highly skilled at complex case organization, including through the use of case management software and techniques. Amy has employed her talents to the benefit of many clients in particularly complex and difficult cases all the way through attending trial as part of a trial team.
