From our Perth office, Aimee specialises in liability matters and workplace disputes. As part of her liability practice, Aimee advises clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, property damage, aviation and construction disputes. As part of her workplace practice Aimee advises her clients on workplace health and safety, redundancies, unfair dismissals, general protections and Award disputes.
Aimee has achieved successful settlements at various stages of proceedings and has experience in running liability and workplace matters to trial. Aimee has appeared in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts of WA, as well as the Industrial Magistrates Court, the Fair Work Commission and the Federal Court.
Aimee is also a member of our pro-bono team, organising and running indigenous wills clinics in rural WA, undertaking work for the Cancer Council, providing training to community organisations and assisting with Criminal Injury Compensation claims.

Aimee works with Australian and international insurers, brokers, underwriters and their clients, as well as local and national businesses and individuals. Focussed on providing an excellent client experience, she has advised businesses from a variety of sectors, including mining companies, retailers, hotel groups, contractors, medical practitioners, vets, manufacturers and event organisers.

Qualifications
Admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2009, Aimee has a BA (Hons) in Law and History, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Legal Practice Certificate from the University of the West of England, Bristol in the United Kingdom. Aimee practised in WA as a foreign qualified lawyer until February 2019, when she was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of WA.
Life before Sparkes
Aimee practised in commercial litigation (working for SMEs and national companies in the UK) before moving to Perth in 2015.
Life outside of Sparkes
Aimee has two young daughters who take up most of her time outside of the office. She enjoys making the most of the sunshine by spending time outdoors—camping, hiking and four-wheel driving through remote areas of WA.
