Alberto is a lawyer from the University of Lima (1998), graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) with specialization courses in Mining Law, Taxation, Finance and Corporate Law at the University of the Pacific (2011), University of Lima (2004), and ESAN (2002) respectively. University professor on issues related to Mining and Corporate Law. Before joining Vargas Pareja Abogados & Consultores, Alberto advised companies and investors in the areas of Civil Law, Contract Negotiations, Property and Investments, specializing in the Mining and Infrastructure sectors, in national, foreign and multinational companies, including Minera Barrick Misquichilca SA, a leader in gold exploration, exploitation and marketing, with successful results through leadership in the Office of the Attorney General, in close coordination with the Legal Department and the General Management, in order to clearly establish the ways to achieve corporate objectives. Then, negotiator on behalf of Perupetro (Peruvian State) to enter into Oil Exploration and Exploitation License contracts, taking into account environmental contingencies.
