Alexandra is a member of the Government team and advises on technology, data protection and the acquisition of services where availability and security are critical. She is recognised in Best Lawyers and Chambers for her expertise in government and technology. In these roles Alexandra also advises on governance, performance frameworks and regulatory compliance. Alexandra has particular expertise in negotiating complex contracts and finding solutions to problems.

Alexandra advises a range of clients on the acquisition of technology, vaccines and other medical products, major capital equipment and a range of business services. She understands and utilises a range of contract forms including alliance and performance-based contracts.
Qualifications
Alexandra has a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Masters of International Laws from the Australian National University. Alexandra is also a GAICD.
Life before Sparkes
Alexandra previously worked at another large firm where she advised government and private clients on a range of commercial and technology transactions. Prior to this Alexandra worked as General Counsel to the Cth Department of Communications and Transport.
Life outside of Sparkes
Alexandra is a board member of the RSPCA and owns two very energetic groodle dogs. Alexandra also has a keen interest in sport and currently is involved in cross fit and dragon boating. Alexandra has coached dragon boating and has represented Australia in that sport.
