Anne-Carine Ropars-Furet is a partner at Sésame Avocats, defending French and international companies before the French courts in commercial and corporate litigation. She is also involved in resolving conflicts between partners, including in regulated companies, notably in healthcare law.
Anne-Carine represents, among others, investment funds in the settlement of disputes with corporate officers, and helps eminent executives counter abusive dismissals. In particular, she assists her clients in enforcing shareholders' agreements, asset and liability guarantees and earnouts.
She also advises industrial companies, medium-sized businesses, clinics and laboratories in disputes arising from contractual breaches. Anne-Carine assists France's largest group of private clinics in resolving disputes with practitioners concerning breach of practice contracts.
Trained in amicable dispute resolution methods (collaborative law, participative procedure and mediation), Anne-Carine co-founded and co-directs the "Modes amiables de résolution des différents" (Amicable methods of dispute resolution) DU at the University of Paris-Nanterre. She is also a lecturer at the University of Aix-Marseille and a member of the Association Française des Praticiens du Droit Collaboratif (AFPDC). She is co-author of the « Guide des modes amiables de résolution des différends » (ed. LexisNexis).
