Brett M. Anders is a principal in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He exclusively represents management in workplace law, including counseling and litigation.
Brett routinely advises clients regarding day-to-day employment issues, such as employee discipline and discharge, disability management issues, reductions-in-force and restrictive covenants. He also regularly conducts training programs for employers on a variety of employment-related topics, such as performance management, sexual harassment awareness and disability management.
Brett has extensive experience representing employers in all types of employment litigation matters, such as employment discrimination, wrongful discharge and wage and hour cases. He regularly litigates in both state and federal court, as well as before various governmental agencies including the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Jersey Department of Labor and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.
Brett frequently speaks and lectures regarding e-discovery and other employment law topics. He has also successfully argued several motions regarding the spoliation of electronic evidence and has conducted the direct and cross-examinations of forensic computer experts and/or IT professionals at trial. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Brett worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Louis F. Locascio, J.S.C.
