Carolyn Lloyd is a partner in Lerners LLP’s London Family Law Group. She has practised exclusively family law since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2000. She has significant experience litigating disputes involving support, property, and custody issues, and all legal rights arising from marriage, cohabitation, and parenting. She routinely handles complex family law matters with corporate issues involving corporate counsel, business valuators, accountants, tax advisors, and other experts. In addition to her advocacy/trial experience, she has completed training and has experience as counsel in mediation, arbitration, and collaborative family law, and readily promotes and uses ADR techniques in family disputes when appropriate. Carolyn has completed the Ministry of the Attorney General training to conduct mediations and arbitrations, and is available to be retained to act as a mediator and arbitrator. A member of several professional organizations, she is Past Chair of Collaborative Family Law of London & Middlesex and a Past President of the Middlesex Family Law Association. She was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Western University 2015–2018, and acted as a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Superior Court of Justice, Family Court for five years.
