"When I was invited to join the firm when it began, I knew HSH would be creating a small, collegial environment with senior lawyers who truly care about the needs of their clients. And that, I am pleased to say, is exactly the kind of firm we have become."

David’s practice is devoted to personal injury litigation on behalf of seriously injured accident victims. He has conducted numerous Trials in our Courts, and Arbitrations before The Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Pragmatic by nature, David believes that it is the needs of his clients and their long-term quality of life that are central, above all else.

David has spent almost his entire career at HSH; first as an associate, and as a partner since 2004. Now, as managing partner of the firm, he continues to uphold HSH’s long-standing values and dedication to our clients.

David holds membership and leadership roles in several professional associations and is regularly invited to speak and lecture at their events and seminars. He has lectured on insurance law at Osgoode Hall Law School and is an occasional contributor on CFRB 1010. David is recognized by Lexpert and Best Lawyer Canada as a leading lawyer in personal injury litigation.
