David Spears

David provides advice and representation to clients with respect to workplace issues of all kinds, including employment litigation, employment standards complaints, human rights proceedings, and occupational health and safety matters. He also assists employers in developing and implementing a variety of workplace contracts and policies.

In his role, David has appeared before numerous arbitration boards, federal and provincial labour boards, human rights tribunals, and other administrative tribunals. In addition, he has appeared before courts with respect to employment litigation.

As a member of Brazeau Seller Law’s specialized Dental Practice Group, David also assists dentists and other health care providers in developing sound employment structures, as well as workplace practices and policies. When employment issues arise—as they inevitably do—David is called on to help resolve matters in an effective and efficient manner.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Waterloo in 1995 and his law degree from the University of Windsor in 1998.
