Diego Ruiz Durán is a criminal lawyer by the Escuela Libre de Derecho, he also has a Master's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Oxford University.

In 2001 he began his professional career under the tutelage of the renowned criminal lawyer José Luis Nassar, who years later encouraged him to open his own firm, Bufete Ruiz Durán. He has been a professor at the Escuela Libre de Derecho.

He has also studied at the Universities of Cambridge, Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).

He is the founder of Bufete Ruiz Duran S.C., a firm that has been awarded and recognized as one of the most prestigious and has provided the best results to its clients, who in most cases are high profile clients, in recent years.

He is characterized by the wide range of Pro Bono matters that are handled in the firm he presides over with a great team of lawyers.


In addition to Criminal Defense, Diego Ruíz Durán has a special interest in Constitutional Law, which he practices together with Criminal Defense. "Constitutional Law is extremely exciting, especially because of the engineering in this field that we have in Mexico, there is no strictly rigid Constitution, it is a law that is evolving day by day, unlike other countries in which, the reality is that it is the secondary legislation that is advancing".
