Dustin Furman is a founding partner of the firm and has tried hundreds of cases, recovering tens of millions of dollars for his clients. Dustin’s journey to becoming a trial attorney started back in high school, where he worked for a premier medical malpractice firm and worked throughout college. Dustin then graduated college early and started law school at just 20 years old. As a result, Dustin was the youngest graduate in his class at just 23 years old.

Days after being sworn to the bar Dustin was in the Courtroom trying multiple headline medical malpractice cases. Dustin has worked on a wide variety of cases, including some of the largest verdicts in Maryland’s history of $55 million and $21 million.

Most recently, in December of 2022 and January of 2023, Dustin won over $1 million in two back-to-back verdicts on cases where the defendant corporations tried to take him on in Court and paid dearly for their mistake to do so. Dustin’s willingness to try these types of cases has earned him a reputation as a fearless trial attorney. As a result of his success, Dustin is proud to be on the Best Lawyers Ones to Watch list for 2024.

Dustin’s approach to litigation is to leave no stone unturned, he takes pride in handling his client’s cases from the early investigation all the way through to trial. Dustin has taken on many large hospitals and corporations with tremendous success for his clients. As a result, Dustin was named as “Top 40 under 40” in Maryland by The National Trial Lawyers.

While in law school, Dustin was the lead attorney on the acclaimed National Trial Team and was selected to the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Advanced Trial Skills Master Program. He was also inducted into the Royal Shannonhouse Honors Society.

Dustin has been invited to and lectured at both the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Georgetown University School of Medicine on medical-legal topics. In his spare time, Dustin serves as a mentor to Maryland high school students as a Judge for the Maryland State Bar Association Mock Trial Competition.
