Eleanor is a partner at Carbert Waite and chair of the Trusts and Estates group. She is a recognized wills and estates lawyer who takes a forward-thinking approach to the practice of estate law. From personal estate planning to navigating high-conflict estate disputes, Eleanor is committed to empowering her clients during the legal process.
Eleanor has obtained the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation by STEP Canada, which demonstrates her advanced understanding of the trust and estates field and her proactive approach to being at the forefront of the latest developments in the industry.
Eleanor continues to lead and participate in community service programs. She is a founding director of the Great Bar Band Battle Society, an organization that hosts fundraising events to raise money for access to justice in Calgary. She is also a director on the Board of Pro Bono Law Alberta and volunteers with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program, where she provides free legal advice to self-represented litigants in Provincial Court.
Eleanor obtained her law degree from the University of Calgary and received the Faculty of Law Silver Medallion for achieving high academic standing and making a significant contribution to her community by leading access to justice programs.
