Elena García de la Torre Sanz

Partner of the Tax Department of Crowe Legal y Tributario since April 2020 and responsible for the Madrid office. She has 20 years of experience in the practice of law.

She began her professional career as a lawyer specializing in the field of tax advice in 2002 at Cuatrecasas in Barcelona; in 2006 she joined KPMG and in 2008 PwC, where she was appointed partner in 2017. In 2022 she joined Crowe as Partner of the Tax Area and head of the Madrid office of Crowe Legal y Tributario.

Elena has an extensive experience in the field of general taxation, being her specialty the restructuring processes of companies and the taxation of consolidated groups, advising both domestic and foreign companies.

She has wide expertise in the defense of taxpayers' interests before the Tax Administration and in the formulation and negotiation of consultations before the Directorate General of Taxes.

She has a Law Degree from the University of Zaragoza. Postgraduate degree in Tax Consultancy and Management from ESADE.

Member of the Barcelona Bar Association and lecturer at the Ramón Llull-ESADE Law School.
