Ms. von Keller was born and raised in Blythewood, South Carolina. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2018.
Elizabeth graduated from Wofford College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Spanish. She graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2018, obtaining her juris doctor and her Children’s Law Concentration. She was awarded membership into the Order of Wig and Robe and served as the Senior Article Editor of the South Carolina Law Review. Through her seat on the Executive Board of Phi Delta Phi, Elizabeth served on the planning committee for the 2018 Faculty Auction, the law school’s annual event that raises money for the James L. Petigru Public Interest Law Society Summer Fellowship Program.
Elizabeth began clerking with the Finkel Law Firm in 2016 and remained with the firm until she graduated law school. After graduation, Elizabeth served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Grace G. Knie in Spartanburg, SC. She returned to the Finkel Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2019 and joined the firm’s Social Security Disability Department, helping claimants across the state obtain their benefits.
Elizabeth’s compassion and drive to serve those in her community lead her to a greater focus on family law representation. Her dedication to her clients and proven success in bringing their cases to a fair resolution earned her the 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America recognition.
When not practicing law, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, cheering on the Wofford Terrier’s basketball team, spending time with her fiancé and their dog – Loki, and attending kickboxing classes.
