Emilie Clairoux

Emilie Clairoux is an associate of the Corporate/Commercial group. Her practice covers all aspects of business law and focuses particularly mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies in a variety of sectors.

Emilie supports clients in every step of the purchase or sale process, from setting up the initial structure to integrating the assets following the closing of the transaction. She also provides legal and strategic advice on the organization of companies and the protection of stakeholders, including the drafting of shareholders’ agreements. Emilie also advises clients on the drafting of commercial contracts and for various commercial transactions.

Emilie is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Law at the Université de Montréal and is particularly interested in the governance of public corporations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil law (LL.B.) and a master of business administration (MBA) from Sherbrooke University.
