I have been working in Labor Law exclusively for more than 20 years. About my practice, I can say that my clients consider that when they start working with me, a trust and personalized relationship is generated where a fully understanding and accompaniment is present to all their problems and needs in order to give a response and practical solutions that fit individually to the requirements of each case.

Some of the most frequent consultations are about the management of different union strategies, some success stories that have been worked on.

Whose response is generally that the strategies must be structured according to the medium and long term strategy that the company has in order to ensure greater job stability and that allows the productivity of the companies.

One of the cases more challenging during the last year was the collective conflict that took place with the trade union organization ACDAC and LATAM Airlines which culminated in an arbitral award that favored in the most part to the company. But, even so, it was decided to file an appeal for annulment with the supreme court of justice in order to generate jurisprudence that will be of great importance in the Colombian airline industry in the future.
This practice will ensure that the firm achieves great recognition in the industry and in the sector in general.

Labor law is the branch of law that deals directly with people as an integral part of the productive process and that allows them to obtain the necessary resources to subsist, and that implies we must seek formulas and permanent strategies and solutions with the aim of balancing capital and job.

Carlos Álvarez Pereira, my father, is the mentor of a whole generation of lawyers who work in labor law and since my childhood I was influenced by the practice and the great experience I saw thanks to my father.

One of my passions is to fly, I am a pilot and apart from exercising labor law, I try to do a lot of flight hours. I use this practice to generate different social works such as air patrol support in order to get specialized medical attention to places where it cannot be easily reached.
