Her international experience includes serving as an international organization official in the Legal Affairs and Rules Divisions of the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. In this capacity she advised the Panels that issue international trade dispute settlement resolutions between States. She previously worked for more than 6 years in the Antitrust and International Trade teams of other prominent legal firms.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Counselor at Basham, Ringe & Correa, S.C. Mexico’s office since 2020, where she currently focuses on Antitrust law. She also has a lengthy career in International Trade Law. She represents national and international clients in investigations and trial-like proceedings regarding hard-core cartels and abuse of dominance, proceedings regarding barriers to competition and essential facilities processed by the Federal Economic Competition Commission (“COFECE”), as well as the litigation processes before Constitutional courts (amparo trial) against the resolutions issued by COFECE. She also represents clients in M&A’s notifications before COFECE and advises clients on broader antitrust topics.
