Jackson M. Reagan is a managing associate in Dentons Sirote's Corporate and Tax practices in the Birmingham office, where he primarily focuses on helping clients navigate complex tax, entity, and business planning issues. Jackson regularly counsels businesses and business owners regarding a variety of matters, including entity and fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, tax and business planning, nonprofit/tax exempt issues, and regulatory compliance. Jackson also represents taxpayers in connection with national, state, and local tax and economic development incentives. Additionally, Jackson assists developers and investors in commercial real estate transactions, advising on investment structuring, capital gain planning, exit planning, partnership tax issues, and drafting documentation such as operating agreements and joint venture agreements.

Jackson's extensive educational background in accounting and tax, including a BSBA in accountancy, cum laude, from Auburn University; a MAcc from Samford University; a JD, magna cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law; and an LLM in Taxation from the New York University School of Law, enables him to assist clients with the various legal and tax implications of business transactions.
