Since his admission to the bar in the year 1987, Joachim Heffinger has been providing consulting services mainly in the fields of private construction law, real estate law, law of architects, law of engineers as well as commercial tenancy law. In these areas of law he has a great deal of lawsuit experience. Joachim Heffinger advises and represents primarily investors in the real estate sector, medium-sized construction companies as well as architects’ offices and engineering offices (also on behalf of liability insurance providers) in court and out of court, including the drafting of contracts in all aspects of real estate throughout Germany. In providing his consulting services Joachim Heffinger adapts to the increasing requirement and the needs of the market to reasonably solve conflicts out of court, within a narrow time frame as well as in an effective and economical manner. In cases where it is suitable, he also resorts to the instruments of extrajudicial dispute resolution (e.g. mediation, arbitration). Joachim Heffinger holds practical seminars addressing construction law and tenancy law adjusting them individually to the needs of his customers. In addition, he is a contributor for private building law issues with the m-con Akademie für Immobilien- und Bauwirtschaft (academy for real estate and construction industries). Since 1994, Joachim Heffinger has been a partner of the law firm Döderlein Heffinger & Partner which joined SNP Schlawien effective as of January 1, 2012.
