Julie Tremblay is passionate about defending taxpayers’ rights.

Julie is the head of the Tax Litigation team. She assists individuals and companies in disputes with tax authorities, including income and commodity (GST/QST) tax disputes. Having previously worked at Revenu Québec, she has a unique understanding of the organization and uses this advantage to help clients navigate administrative tax procedures, including voluntary disclosure, tax audits and objections. She also has extensive negotiation and dispute resolution experience and has pleaded many cases before competent courts, including the Tax Court of Canada and the Court of Québec.

She has also been involved in many criminal tax cases, both in trials and in Jordan-and Jarvis-type preliminary motions. In addition to her work, she teaches a commodity tax course at the Université de Sherbrooke and is involved in the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).
