Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs
Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs
Justin Sheldon began his legal career on "the other side" representing businesses as a corporate defense lawyer. He moved from working for a large firm to smaller one that specialized in auto products liability litigation throughout the United States. There he represented manufacturers like Porsche, Honda, Toyota, Kia, and Hyundai when those companies were sued for the serious injury or death of car crash victims. Justin soon found that he desired to help the victims of those crashes and changed his career path to become a personal injury trial lawyer representing injury victims and their families.
Justin was able to use his experience as a defense lawyer to bring cases before juries in trial - what he believes is the most effective way to get justice. Justin has had some amazing wins in court including a verdict of $4,700,000 in a workplace accident and wrongful death case as well as a $1,250,000 verdict in King William County, Virginia, which is currently the largest jury verdict in that county.
Justin has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Virginia Super Lawyers® since 2015, was named a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers since 2019, received the Up & Coming Lawyer award from Virginia Lawyers Weekly in 2021, and was selected by Best Lawyers® as “Ones to Watch” for 2022.
While Justin loves being a trial lawyer and representing clients, his most important calling is to his family. Justin and his wife, Laura, have three young sons and live in the Richmond area.
