Kate L. Ringler

Kate L. Ringler practices in the areas of probate law and estate planning with a focus on guardianships, conservatorships and special needs trusts. Ms. Ringler advises individuals as they consider personal, medical and financial decisions in estate planning. Upon the death of a loved one, Ms. Ringler helps families through the estate administration process, ensuring that the estate plan is followed and all legal requirements are met.

Prior to joining Kemp Klein, Ms. Ringler worked at BMO Harris Bank in Fiduciary Risk Management, where she advised the line of business on fiduciary duties and risk. As an expert on federal banking regulations as it relates to the trust business, Ms. Ringler is well-versed in all aspects of trust administration and uses her experience to better protect her clients’ interests. Ms. Ringler is especially skilled in special needs trusts, public benefits, and tax planning strategies.
