Lee Muldrow has been engaged in general litigation and workers’ compensation defense for over thirty years. His litigation practice involves a wide variety of insurance defense cases but also includes copyright, trademark and trade dress litigation. His workers’ compensation practice entails representing employers, self-insured companies and insurance carriers.
Muldrow’s more recent experience includes:
- Lead counsel defending a national insurance company in connection with a $900,000 dispute involving a local hospital. The case involves an issue of first impression pertaining to the interpretation of the Commission Rule 30, stop-loss provisions, as applied to cases involving the delivery of “extraordinary services.”
- Lead counsel representing a national restaurant chain before the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission in connection with a death claim. The case primarily involves a challenge of the Commission’s subject matter jurisdiction, with plaintiffs endeavoring to have the case removed to Circuit Court.
- Co-counsel for a national retail store chain defending allegations of trademark and trade dress infringement. Plaintiff claimed damages exceeding one million dollars. The case was tried in Federal Court with decision rendered in favor of the client.
