Lise Leduc

Lise Leduc is known as the preeminent Franco-Ontarian labour lawyer who will litigate any matter in ‘la langue de Molière’. Not known to mince words, Lise has a reputation for being direct and to the point. Maybe it has something to do with growing up in Kapuskasing, where she endured her share of -40°C winters.

For over twenty years, Lise has represented union clients whose members come from all walks of life, including heavy equipment operators in the forestry industry, university professors, federal public servants, support workers in the health care sector and more. Most recently, Lise spends much of her time representing French-speaking teachers across Ontario in labour arbitration and professional discipline cases. She also provides bargaining advice and other strategic counsel to teachers’ unions, and is well versed in all aspects of the complex labour issues that arise in the education sector.

Lise regularly appears before numerous labour arbitrators, tribunals and courts, vigorously advocating for her clients in both official languages. Lise’s clients appreciate her candour and her practical approach to resolving issues. Lise is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers as well as the Association des juristes d’expression française.
