Luke Mountford

Luke Mountford leads HopgoodGanim Lawyers as Managing Partner and also leads our Private Enterprise practice, working predominantly with HG Private clients advising on their corporate and commercial legal matters.

Luke has a significant experience base advising on business succession, structuring, and mergers and acquisitions. His clients include private and family owned businesses, agribusiness clients, indigenous businesses and high wealth individuals.

He has a particular interest in family business succession, and has assisted a number of family-owned business clients achieve successful intergenerational transfers of ownership and control.

Luke is recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Corporate and Leading Business & Commercial Lawyer, Queensland 2018–2023, as well as a Leading Health & Aged Care Lawyer, Queensland, 2017–2023. Most recently, Luke was included in The Best Lawyers™ in Australia 2022-2024 for Commercial Law; Corporate Law; Corporate/Government Practice; Mergers and Acquisitions Law.

Luke is a non-executive director of OneHarvest, an Australian, family-owned grower, processor and marketer of fresh produce.
