Manuela Serranoa is a partner of the firm. She previously worked in large Spanish and international firms like DLA Piper and Roca Junyent. She has wide-ranging experience in the practice of company law, particularly in the areas of insolvency and corporate restructuring, and has become a leading expert in this sector. Manuela has been involved in some of the most important insolvency operations and proceedings both in Spain and internationally, in addition to operations for the sale and purchase of businesses and production units, distress processes and both intra- and extra-company litigation, defending the interests of businesses, employers, investment funds and national and international banks, among others. She has also frequently led the insolvency administration process in important proceedings. She is the author of many individual publications, collective works and handbooks on matters relating to corporate and insolvency law, and frequently gives presentations at professional Conferences. Since 2006 she has been Associate Professor of Commercial Law at ICADE where, in addition to teaching on the Law and Business Management and International Relations degree courses, she also gives classes on her special subjects in the Auditing and Managerial Development Master’s course for professionals working for the Big Four.
