Marc A. Tremblay

Marc Tremblay is a professional engineer and a lawyer. He practices business law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and financing of private corporations, particularly in the technology and the telecommunication sectors. While handling transactions within the information technology and manufacturing sectors, he negotiates various agreements for the development, licensing, integration,and transfer of technology, the outsourcing of computer services and business processes and the setting up of joint ventures and strategic alliances.

In recent years, Marc has represented major Canadian companies in large multi billion dollar transactions.

Marc is responsible for our Business Law Group and our Technology and Innovation Group. He is a nationally recognized expert in transactional law, among others, being repeatedly recommended by LEXPERT magazine as a leading expert in Technology Transactions and Computer and IT law, and by Best Lawyers. In the past, Marc had worked as a professional engineer for an engineering consulting firm as well as for Rio Tinto, one of the largest mining companies in the world.
