Michael T. Flood

Mike Flood uses a multi-disciplinary approach to accomplish health care stakeholders’ operational and strategic goals. He is passionate about providing regulatory advice on a broad range of issues and counsels clients on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, licensure and enrollment, state and federal fraud and abuse laws, and health IT related issues. Mike is regularly called upon to assist health care systems and other health care stakeholders with compliance and implementation of the Information Blocking provisions of the 21st Century Cures Act.

Mike uses his broad range of expertise to assist clients in structuring and assessing potential regulatory risks associated with transactions involving the health care industry.

Mike began his career practicing in Polsinelli’s Washington, D.C., office, where he focused on advancing health care stakeholders’ public policy positions before CMS, FDA, HRSA and the U.S. Congress. Mike continues to draw on this experience to provide business-focused advice to his clients by bringing together sound legal analysis with public policy considerations.
