Paul was born and raised in Waterbury, CT. Paul was a full-time Adult Probation Officer with the State of Connecticut before attending law school and graduating with honors. Paul's most rewarding cases have involved his representation of working families in claims against powerful Connecticut corporations and insurance companies, such as his claim for dairy farmers whose cattle were harmed by stray voltage from Northeast Utility power lines. Paul's hard work resulted in being designated for inclusion in the 2009-11 editions of Super Lawyers Magazine. He has also been listed in the field of Personal Injury Litigation in the Best Lawyers in America, 2010-12.
Paul was a longtime member of the Waterbury Boys' Club and for years has been a supporter of youth athletics in Waterbury, Southington and Wolcott. Paul is devoted to his alma mater, Sacred Heart High School. In 2005, Paul was honored with the school's Distinguished Alumni Award. He now serves on the school's Advancement Committee. Paul has used his background and strong work ethic to achieve successful verdicts and settlements for a Waterbury infant injured at birth, a New Haven nursing student rendered quadriplegic in a motor vehicle collision and New London County dairy farmers whose cattle were injured by stray voltage.
Paul is a certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Waterbury Bar Association.
