Sarah Clinton Jones is a partner in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office and boasts more than 20 years of courtroom experience as a trial attorney. With clients ranging from locally owned private businesses to Fortune 100 and 500 corporations with a national presence, her book is vast and diverse. As first chair or solo trial counsel, she has tried numerous lawsuits to verdict in state and federal court, with cases ranging from catastrophic injury to employment disputes.
Sarah joined SBSB Eastham in February 2023, bringing with her an expansive practice ranging from commercial litigation and energy to transportation, insurance, premises and products liability and employment law. She is a problem-solver whose clients know she will answer the phone day or night, and her team is comprised of experienced trial lawyers and true litigators.
Sarah is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. District Courts for all four districts in the state. On a national scale, she acts as outside counsel for several companies on both coasts, monitoring litigation and stepping in as trial counsel. Prior to her professional career, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Aside from her primary practice, Sarah is a member of the Genetics Auxiliary Board at Texas Children’s Hospital and consults with the DDX3X foundation to advocate for her daughter and others born with the genetic condition. She is a trustworthy negotiator with the respect of those both on her side and across the aisle.
