Selina M. Ellis maintains a diverse complex civil litigation practice in New York and New Jersey federal and state courts, with an emphasis on intellectual property, employment matters, contract and securities disputes, and class action defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Selina was an associate at Connell Foley LLP in New Jersey and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in New York. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dennis M. Cavanaugh, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey, for the 2010-2011 term, and to the Honorable Barry T. Albin, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of New Jersey, for the 2008-2009 term.

After graduating from Wesleyan University with High Honors, Selina earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Cardozo Law Review, and was a Dean’s Distinguished Scholar. She is fluent in Farsi (Persian).

Selina is an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and was recognized as a Rising Star by New York Super Lawyers in 2015 and New Jersey Super Lawyers in 2017 and 2018.
