Siobhan K. Ray

Siobhan Ray is a creative problem solver and experienced trial attorney who leverages her diverse legal background and architectural training to help clients efficiently resolve their most challenging commercial and litigation disputes.

Siobhan specializes in complex commercial litigation, large scale construction projects in both the public and private sectors, and products liability claims. She has represented clients across the country in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels and dispute resolution boards. She is an effective advocate who has successfully argued dispositive motions, won temporary and permanent injunctions, negotiated favorable settlements both prior to and during litigation, and guided clients through every stage of litigation through trial and appeal. Before joining McDowell Hetherington, she gained significant trial experience and an in-depth understanding of complex commercial matters at two AmLaw 100 firms.

Siobhan’s architecture background allows her to drill down into the details of any case while still focusing on the big picture and devise creative solutions and strategies. She is currently earning an LL.M. in Litigation Management from Baylor Law School to better direct effective litigation strategy, control discovery costs, and leverage new technologies to streamline challenging litigation dockets and meet her client’s goals.

Siobhan is a sixth-generation lawyer whose legal lineage includes her great-grandmother, who was sworn into the Texas Bar in 1916. Her family’s focus on counseling clients on matters big and small and commitment to outstanding work product have shaped her approach to the practice of law today.
