Stephen G. Meads is a shareholder in the firm and has specialized in municipal law and prosecution for over 25 years. He spent the first five years of his legal career at the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office. While there, he handled all aspects of state law prosecutions and attended and graduated from the intensive National College of District Attorneys Career Prosecutor Program. He ascended to the level of Senior Felony Trial Attorney before deciding to enter private practice in 1992.
Since that time, Stephen has handled all aspects of municipal law at the District and Circuit Court levels. He has successfully defended both municipal and private clients in trial courts throughout the State of Michigan.
In addition to defending the interests of his clients in the courtroom, Stephen has been a guest speaker for the Farmington Hills Police Department's Legal Update Series, guest lecturer for the Oakland County Bar Association regarding criminal practice in District Court, speaker for the Law Enforcement Record Managers Association, mentor for the Farmington Hills Student Government Day, and Mentor for the District Court in High Schools Program. He has also been appointed as a Special Prosecutor in the Oakland County Circuit Court.
