Todd M. Adkins

Todd Adkins is a commercial real estate attorney, with broad experience in acquisition, development, leasing and secured financing. Todd represents established and emerging companies throughout Arizona and the Southwest in all facets of commercial real estate. In this context, Todd has negotiated and prepared purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, commercial leases and other related agreements, including restrictive covenants, cost sharing agreements, and security (UCC Article 9) agreements. Todd also leads comprehensive due diligence efforts which include title, survey, environmental and related property investigations. Todd’s experience includes highly complex real estate and real estate financing transactions and Todd has assumed lead responsibility for transactions involving major office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family projects, master planned communities, resort/golf properties, industrial properties, and single-family residential developments.In addition to representing clients in connection with core real estate matters, Todd has significant experience representing creditors in real estate (and non-real estate) bankruptcy reorganization and liquidation cases. This experience enables Todd to bring added value to many loan work-out and similar distressed property transactions.Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Arizona (magna cum laude) in 2002. He graduated from University of Arizona College of Law (Dean’s List) in 2007. During law school, Todd served on the Editorial Board of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law as the Research and Development Editor. Prior to entering law school, Todd worked as a legislative liaison for the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts.Todd is a Partner with the firm and was recognized as a Rising Star in the area of real estate by Southwest Super Lawyers® in 2013.
