Torge Thielemann studied industrial engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig and completed this course of study as a graduate engineer in 2003. Parallel to this, he successfully studied business administration and management information systems at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and completed his Master degree in 2002. After working at an institute for applied research in the field of computer graphics technology, systems and applications in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, he began his career in intellectual property protection at a patent law firm in Munich at the end of 2003. Parallel to this, Torge Thielemann studied law for patent attorneys at the University Hagen from 2004 to 2006. Torge Thielemann has been admitted as a German patent attorney since 2007 and as a European patent attorney since 2008. Since then, he has been representing his national and international clients before all German and European patent and trademark offices as well as civil courts. He advises his clients in all fields of intellectual property protection, including the obtaining, defending and enforcing of property rights. He is particularly experienced in conducting oral hearings and preparing legal opinions, in particular infringement, freedom to operate or invalidation opinions. Torge Thielemann speaks German, English and Spanish.
