Member Trevor Cutaiar’s practice focuses on admiralty and maritime litigation and insurance defense. Trevor has significant experience in handling asbestos exposure cases involving a unique combination of Louisiana tort law, federal constitutional law, multi-district litigation and state and federal workers’ compensation schemes. His practice also includes premises liability cases, contractual disputes, and municipal liability. He has represented a wide range of clients, including municipalities, local boat companies, and national and international corporations.

Trevor likes to solve problems and obtain the best results for his clients. “My undergraduate degree was in journalism, so I have a unique perspective on fact-finding and the questions that need to be asked. I really enjoy working with my clients and like to listen. I make sure to advise them of both the strengths and the weaknesses of their positions and don’t just tell them what they want to hear.”

Outside of the office, Trevor enjoys reading, biking, and golfing. He also plays in the Crescent City Soccer league.
