Our Story
Founded in 1936, the Law Firm currently known as Krasno Krasno & Onwudinjo was started by the Honorable Isadore Krasno. The Honorable Isadore Krasno was not only a trial lawyer but also a workers compensation referee and judge for nearly 45 years. His goal was to protect the rights of injured workers and pass these ideals to his son and law partner, Lester Krasno. Isadore felt that he could best do this by serving as a workers compensation judge and he dedicated his life to the injured worker.
As a trial lawyer, Lester was busy handling criminal, domestic and civil trials. However, Lester realized that his calling, like his father, resided in protecting the injured worker. For three decades, Lester has continued to aggressively protect injured workers by taking on insurance carriers and employers who try to strip the injured of their rights under the Workers’ Compensation Act. Lester has handled tens of thousands of workers compensation cases and won tens of millions of dollars in awards for his clients.
Carrying Our Story and Tradition Forward
The apple does not fall far from the tree and in 1999 Jason Krasno joined the law firm. After an initial exposure to civil and criminal trials, Jason engaged exclusively in workers compensation litigation on behalf of the injured worker. He saw first hand the benefits that his grandfather, father and other firm members achieved in protecting the injured from major corporations and insurance carriers.
Jason runs the Philadelphia Office and has expanded the firm from 8 to 14 attorneys. He has been instrumental in opening additional offices throughout Pennsylvania. Jason’s goal is to carry on the established tradition of his father and grandfather of maximizing the fair treatment of injured workers during the workers' compensation process. Jason tenaciously represents thousands of injured workers against a wide array of employers and their insurance carriers.
Andrew Onwudinjo has been with Krasno Krasno & Onwudinjo for over twenty years. A native of Nigeria, Andrew knew that he would have to work hard and overcome many obstacles faced by immigrants who come to the United States every year. Andrew not only overcame these obstacles, he conquered them. As a partner in the firm, Andrew has demonstrated this same work ethic in the courtroom and in the office. Andrew has represented thousands of injured workers and become an integral part of the firm’s appellate practice. Andrew’s knowledge of the law and ability to translate it to the other members of the firm has made him a key member of the firm. Andrew is an aggressive attorney who represents all of his clients with hard work and determination.
Lester, Andrew and Jason could not handle the high volume of cases the firm produces each year without the hard work and dedication of the 14 attorneys and support staff. It is a combined effort that will continue to define the firm’s sense of tradition for generations to come.
