MA Abogados was founded in Madrid in November 2011 as a project led by José María Michavila and Ángel Acebes, both former Ministers of Justice of Spain. The aim was to promote a law firm that, while having a wide presence in Spain, primarily consists of senior lawyers. To achieve this, several leading law firms in their respective cities were integrated, with Seville, Valencia, and Palma de Mallorca joining Madrid as founding partners. The project has grown in recent years, expanding its presence with the incorporation of new offices located in Bilbao, Salamanca, Vigo, and Marbella. In this way, MA Abogados offers national coverage across different branches of law, serving both small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large national and international companies.
