Head of the M&A, Banking and Services and Financial Transactions. Marcela graduated originally in Law in Public Business. 29 years of experience inclusive at golden circle law firms (both Brazilian and international), investment banks (in the front office, law department and as Compliance Officer) and as head of the Law Department of one of the most efficent sustainable energy and alchool companies, with more than R$22 billion in debt transactions (debentures, LCIs, CRIs, notes, private placements, AB Loans, PEFA, EPFAs) and equity (144A e RegS) transactions, derivatives (in Brazil and abroad), corporate reorganizations and M&As (inclusive of financial and insurance conglomerates).

Before joining Jordan Cury Advogados, Marcela worked as a trader and in the wealth management at IBBA, as a counsel at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, BKBG, at investment banks such as ING (also as Compliance Officer) and Rabobank, and as head of the Law Department at Cerradinho Bioenergia S.A. International experience comprises acting as associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP and Tauil Chequer Advogados/Mayer Brown LLP. HUmana development comprises acting as Head of Admissions for CEU Law School Executive LL.M., menthoring head of law departments and experienced lawyers.
