Covadonga del Pozo is founder and managing partner of DEL POZO & DE LA CUADRA and practises in environmental, energy and natural resources law. She has wide experience in all environmental areas (waste, water, air, climate change, polluted soils, protected áreas, fauna & flora, REACH, etc.), as well as in the electricity (conventional and renewable resources), gas, oil and mining regulated markets.She advises her clients on a large diversity of matters, such as M&A transactions (including legal due diligences and negotiation processes), regulatory compliance counselling, and litigation at administrative bodies and judicial courts (penalties, environmental liabilities, claims, etc.). She has also a large portfolio of clients that she advises on the development of all kind and sizes of industrial and real state projects (highlighting oil and gas E&P projects in Spain, both onshore and offshore projects). She regularly works for local and foreign companies, whether public or private and individuals. She lectures at Francisco de Vitoria University (Madrid) and also collaborates with Instituto de Empresa in providing inhouse specialised programs to large companies.
